Born on 8, January 1959, Mohammed Musa Bello (CON) is a Nigerian banker and an indigene of Adamawa State. His father, Alhaji Musa Bello, was the Managing Director of Northern Nigeria Development Company (from 1970 to 1976) and was a trusted friend of President Buhari.

Bello attended Barewa College before proceeding to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria where he bagged a degree in Management (Banking and Finance) in 1980 as well as an MBA in the same field.

He spent over 20 years in the corporate sector, working at Habib Bank Plc, ICON Merchant Bank Plc, J.P. Morgan, and several top-ranking firms.
